A Growing Company
In a mere 5 years since taking its first steps by acquiring a
bus company in Poland that owned 50 buses, Egged Europe has become an outstanding
European transportation corporation. The growth of Egged Europe results in superior
business development; today the company owns a fleet of some 1800 buses. Thus, Egged
Europe now operates a wide range of public transportation lines in a number of European
cities and outlying areas and provides reliable, faithful, effective and convenient
service to hundreds of thousands of passengers.
Rapid business development, strong financial backing, high level of
service, reliability of schedules, passengers comfort and of course, the massive
purchasing of new “green” buses complying to the Euro 5 standard, all of which have
advanced control and command systems; all these have made Egged Europe a sought-
after corporation by two main types of entities:
1. Businesses that are interested in investing, collaborating,
or becoming a supplier to the corporation, such as the bus manufacturers Scania,
Iveco and Solaris, and large financial services that provide credit and funding
such as BRE Bank, Pekao Bank, and others.
2. Municipalities that are interested in upgrading the public
transportation offered to their residents, both on the level of reliability of operation,
as well as the scope of the bus lines, adherence to time - tables and the level
of personal comfort and convenience.
